KCS Needs For September:
Fruit
Volunteers are needed for picking corn for the needy at Ben Gates' farm in Barnet on September 11.
There will be a Homebuilders Small Group starting up in September.
The 8-week study is from the Homebuilders Couple Series: Building Your Marriage to Last.
The group will meet Friday nights from 6:30-8 pm at the Puffer's home in Barnet village.
Interested couples please sign up in the foyer or contact Josh or Danielle Puffer.

Friends and Family Dinner
Beginning Sunday, September 12, we will be trying something different this year. Friends and Family Dinner is an informal dinner immediately after the Morning Worship Service the second Sunday each month.
There is no sign up. Everyone coming is invited to bring a main dish, salad, dessert, whatever you like, to share in the upstairs Café kitchen before Worship Service. If it needs to be warmed, place dish in oven which will be on low heat.
Everyone coming will be the prep, service, and clean-up committee. You may bring drinks, a can of coffee or tea if you wish.
After the dinner we can play games, go to the playground, play ball, etc. If you see someone new that morning they are welcome to join us.

A new 13-week session of GriefShare will begin on Monday, September 13th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the UBC prayer room.
Our new ministry, "Sarah's Hope," is now prepared to help people who are experiencing a crisis pregnancy.
If you know of anyone who needs help with this, please have them call the "Sarah's Hope" line at 802-473-8383.
Peru Construction Team Needed
In January/February 2011 there will be a team of construction workers going to BCM-Peru to construct a dining hall for the Quiruma Teens in the jungle facility near Iquitos. Please talk to Wally Knight right away if you are interested. Firm dates will be set depending on airline ticket costs and team preference.

If you have an update reminder in your mailbox, or if your ChildSafe badge says "Certification Expires 2010" or earlier, it's time to update your ChildSafe Training. Please re-read the ChildSafe manual and update your information on the Annual Review form. We have copies of both in the church office if you need them.
