We Invite you to join Christmas at UBC

Parents - save the date for our Holiday Drop + Shop this year! We'll feed and watch your kids while you do your Christmas shopping. Make sure to bring weather appropriate clothing so we can take them outside for sledding if we have some by then and check back here for hours and more details as we get closer.

WONDER OF CHRISTMAS (PART 1): THE WONDER OF HIS BIRTH

Sunday, December 4th    10:30  A.M.
When Jesus was born looks a lot more like a messy barn than the clean little manger in our Nativity scenes that sit in our homes and offices and are depicted in the Christmas cards we receive in the mail. Jesus did come to get messy. And the birth that took place in that messy barn on the outskirts of Bethlehem was anything but a clean and sanitary sight.

WONDER OF CHRISTMAS (PART 2): THE WONDER OF HIS LOVE

Sunday, December 11th   10:30  A.M.
Curiosity may have killed the cat, but being curious is one of the traits that can help people experience the love of God and the relationship God desires us to enjoy with Him.  Staying curious when we read and hear the stories from the Bible, such as the birth narrative of Mary and baby Jesus, can open new perspectives and understandings of the Wonder of Christmas in new ways.

WONDER OF CHRISTMAS (PART 3): THE WONDER OF HIS PEACE

Sunday, December 18th   10:30  A.M.
The imagery of a shepherd stirs emotions of care, provision, and protection.  A good shepherd is personally concerned with the welfare of his sheep.
The wonder of Christmas includes a wonderous peace because not only was our Savior born, but that also meant our Good Shepherd finally had arrived.

"A PROMISE FULFILLED" CANDLELIGHT SERVICE & PLAY

Saturday, December 24th    6:00  P.M.
At a time when Adam and Eve felt most separated from God because of their sin, God promised a deliverer would come to destroy Satan who as a serpent tempted them to sin. Watch as a group of young people wrestle with the concepts of sin and come to understand their need for deliverance and that the birth of Jesus was God's promise of our deliverer fulfilled.

WONDER OF CHRISTMAS (PART 4): THE WONDER OF HIS JOY

Sunday, December 25th   10:30  A.M.
Join us for a special Sunday Morning service on Christmas Day.
There is a wonder of joy waiting to be experienced this Christmas when you realize the road you have been traveling intersects with the Savior who was born for you.  The more difficult the journey, the greater the joy will be when you come to the realization that He really is the Lord and Savior over all.  He is worthy to be pursued and worthy of all we have to offer before Him once we come into His presence.

WONDER OF CHRISTMAS (PART 5): THE WONDER OF HIS HOPE

Sunday, January 1st   10:30  A.M.
Join us for a special Sunday Morning service on New Years Day for the final sermon in our Christmas series.
Part of the Wonder of Christmas is how God chose to give needed hope to His people.  For years and years before Jesus ever fulfilled the hundreds of prophecies that pointed to His initial arrival that first Christmas, God had hope in His heart for His people.

Be a Part of Something Big

Every year, UBC picks a missions agency or ministry. This year the designated Christmas offerings and Christmas Eve service offering will go to Agape Ministries located in Derby VT which is focused on helping families with special needs children from Ukraine. You can click below for more information on their ministry.

Starting Sunday, December 4th you can designate Agape Ministries to receive your gift(s) as part of your charitable giving for the end of the year. Just click the dropdown in the giving section to choose them.

Any gifts given on Christmas Eve or on Christmas Day during our services will automatically be given to Agape Ministries.
