Hebrews (Part 3): Jesus > Angels

Oct 9, 2022    Johnny Aseltine

In our culture and in the Hebrew church some of our ideas about angels and how they compare to Jesus have gotten a little out of whack. In the first four verses, the writer of Hebrews began his sermon declaring the Son as the final word of God. Jesus is described as the great prophet, the great priest, and great king who has completed his work, represented by sitting down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. The writer now finished this chapter by stating that Jesus is superior to angels.
