Recovery Groups

Loving people starts right here in Waterford and St. Johnsbury. The gospel is breaking down barriers and God is reaching the lost, stranger and alien to unite them to Himself. We seek to love others through providing a variety of recovery ministries through our CARE ministry and Celebrate Recovery.  Its part of our passion to see the members of our church and community restored as they continue to walk through the doors of our church. 

CARE Ministry

Our mission in the CARE ministry is to help those we counsel understand the type of pain they have and where it comes from by using spiritual materials. Those who work in the CARE Ministry are very dependent on God for His wisdom and guidance. If you believe the CARE ministry is in line with your gifting, but you don't see a ministry that fits you exactly, reach out to us. We can help you discover your place in providing healing and hope for the hurting.

Our CARE Ministry includes recovery groups for those experiencing grief, separation or divorce, as well as individual counseling.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a bible-based ministry helping people find freedom from the hurts, hang-ups and habits in their lives. Low self-esteem, alcoholism, eating disorders, codependency, drug abuse, abandonment, resentment and a history of abuse are just a few of the issues this program addresses, working with everyone from regular church attenders to men and women just released from prison or other institutions.

There are many ways to be involved in Celebrate Recovery including music, teaching, and providing food. Celebrate Recovery regularly meets on Friday evenings at the church from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
